Janakpur News - Maha Yagya starts from Ram Nawami

We all know Janakpur, one of the famous and religious place of our country Nepal. The land where Sita was born as a daughter of Land. We have a great epic behind the place Janakpurdham.  One of the biggest Maha Yagya 'Shree Shree Annant Shree Bishnu Mahayagya' is about to begin on Janakpur from the day of RamNawami in coming Chaitra 2068 B.S. The construction of 1008 concrete Mandap is already started in which different god and goddess statue will be placed. The Yagya and Mandap being constructed is said to be the biggest in the world till date. The area the construction is said to be 4 Bigaha out of 12 Bigaha which covers the whole area.

One of the most interesting Fact is; the Yagyadhaksh of the Yagya 'Muni Baba' also known as Tharesari Baba hasn't sit down since 7 years as a sacrifice to God. Below are some information's and photos about the Maha Yagya.
